My co worker and I went here for lunch. We dined in, instead of take out. I had a medium teriyaki chicken bowl, and my coworker had a steak and chicken teriyaki bowl. The restaurant appeared to be clean, and the staff came out and cleaned the tables as customers left. The food came out fast, and had a perfect temperature. We both enjoyed our food, and we both said we would return for lunch, if we're in the area.
The portions are amazing at this place, love to order ahead, the burgers are really good too! The cashier is the best her multitasking is impressive, and still with a smile she takes your order, so far after 5 years going here and ordering my food it has always been cooked to perfection!
Great food. Always consistent. Not expensive. Teriyaki bowls. You cant go wrong. Their portions of meat are plentiful.
Let me just say that my picture don't do it justice , the small bowl was perfect for a lunch the chicken was delicious and they give generous portions , the staff was friendly and quick , it took a small wit but that's because they were making the chicken fresh "no complaints on that". If you're in a rush I recommend ordering ahead by phone. The place has an authentic joint feel and is kept simple and clean. Definitely a hidden gem.
Who doesn't love a simple bowl of rice and beef/chicken? I found this place after getting tired of the constant portions shrinking at a famous competitor I have been eating at since the 80's. The portions here are quite large, even for a small sized bowl. There is a great portion of beef/chicken whereas other places load the bowl down with a ton of rice and just enough beef/chicken to cover the rice. Here the proteins are piled high at a very fair price. Great place for a guaranteed filling meal when you are on a budget.
